About This Project
The Nillumbik Historical Society preserves and shares the history of the Diamond Creek district, maintaining a large archive of photographs, artefacts, and historical documents spanning over 150 years. The society was formed in 1973 with its inaugural meeting at what is now known as Ellis Cottage.
We built a content-rich WordPress website with custom plugins for managing the extensive archive, a blog for historical articles and event news, and ongoing hosting support. The site serves as an accessible digital gateway to the district's heritage.
